1990 championship season special on ACCN

They screwed themselves when they put #1 on their shirts. Kiss of death. Many on here would be actually mad if we did that. But you’d prob buy one tho
 
It seemed like there was more focus on UVA than GT during this thing, at least the first half hour seemed like a UVA special. I still enjoyed it; but was hoping to see Ross' rebuild of GT and the GT season leading up the UVA game highlighted a little more.
 
The call for reverse inside the 10, with Mooney obliterating two people, was still one of my favorite plays of the 90 game with UVa.

I am still able to stay in touch with about 5 of the others who were banned this summer, and you are right, it IS a badge of honor. Were you banned from there too? I don't remember ever seeing the name you use here on there.

How were you able to record it? Do you mean record it on your DVR or a similar device, or download it to a file on you computer. I can't figure out any way to download it, but the guy with whom I shared the radio broadcast (unfortunately not used) told me he would send me a Vimeo link to it. I checked Vimeo, and it's not there yet, so I guess he hasn't saved it to Vimeo yet. I will post the link when I get it.

Yeah just DVRed it.

Was cool to see the GT and UVA players watch the game together and trash talk each other a bit.

What happened to Scott Sisson's blonde hair? It's dark brown now. Was it bleached when he was in school or dyed now? No way that was a natural change.

They asked for my 1990/1991 yearbook and any other memorabilia from that win. Some game win shirts, the yearbook, and your DVD's were sent to Raycom here in charlotte. I haven't received anything back yet.

I was in class w Scott Scission and we keep in touch. He was thrilled to see the merged video.

That was a hell of a lot of work and coordination for them not to use anything in the special.

You say that you and Scott Sisson stay in touch. One thing I noticed in the special was that he no longer has blonde hair; it's dark brown now. What happened?

My daughter and her mother both had lighter blonde hair that turned darker with age. So it is possible, although he may have bleached it as well.

Easier to do than you might think. I uploaded it to Rumble. The DVD has both versions on it, the one with the radio simulcast, and the one with the TV announcers.
