2,000 Tickets

UGA hasn't sold out either. They sent out an email earlier this week offering single tickets to the UF and the Tech games. $75 for UF and $90 for Tech.

Yeah, who f'n cares? The last time I got tickets through GTAA in Athens I was stuck way up in the nose bleeds with nothing but the trashiest of UGA fans. I'll stick with online ticket sites.

Same here. The face value of the tickets is never what the tickets are actually going for. Plus I'd rather not give my money to UGA.

If you only offer them to season ticket holders you will never sell out your allotment.

I expect the corners of the 600's and the endzone corners will have plenty of room for GT/UGA. It seems the UGAg fans around here aren't real thrilled about things right now.

As for me. I just hate Athens

Chuckie seemed amused that the two primary reasons that Tech fans give for not wanting to attend the game are that they know we are going to lose and that UGA fans are mean to them.

He went on that this is an EVENT, a huge rivalry, and those excuses are just ridiculous.

Given the overwhelming assholery of the dwag fanbase as a hole, I would be hard pressed to argue against his point #2. If I had kids under, say, 15, I would never take them to that poor excuse of a town in fear for their lives and self esteems.

I was there in 2010 (night game) and the postgame obscenities from many of their fans in the concourses as we walked out were downright disgusting. No place for a family. I guess that's what they want though, try to bully opposing fanbases into not showing up to any away games there.

Oddly enough I just recieved an offer from GTAA to buy UGA tickets for $95.

It says the deadline to purchase is 3 weeks prior to the game.

I used to go to the game there, but the drive to and from Athens on gameday was bad enough to keep me from going anymore. Unless you are prepared to tailgate before and after the game, you will be sitting in traffic for 2-3 hours each way.

Are we really worried about what that crayon looking motheröööööö thinks?

Only if you care about a lack of media coverage of GT.

If "you" refers to me, then no, I really don't care what Chuck Oliver thinks or has to say about GT. It's never positive and often just bashes CPJ and/or our fanbase. I am comfortable being a diehard GT fan in a half empty stadium.

I will assume you're kidding but are you serious? My kids will be able to hate the dwags no matter where they are and especially in Athens. Called raising them right.

My experience in Athens has been very different. I've gone to several games in Athens in the last 12 or so years. Only had a negative experience with a UGA fan once, and I provoked it (and it was totally worth it). In 2014 as we were walking out, some 'tard in front of me said to his group of inbred buddies, "I'm going to punch the first GT fan I see in the face". I promptly walked by him, fists clenched. He didn't do anything, and the taste of their finely aged salty tears was even more delicious. That said, no way I'd take my daughter to a game in Athens.

I think we're talking about two different things. Yes, my kids will be raised to hate the dwags 24/7. No, I will most likely not take them to that town for any athletic event until they're older.

I hope the wheels have totally come off the bus for UGAg by the time we play. Nothing would make me more proud than to see an empty stadium down there the Saturday after Thanksgiving as they all bail for other activities.
