2003 signees.....Miami v. GT

I'll make a bet on Kenny. Just about all NFL CB's were left alone in college. When Kenny is truly left alone teams are throwing at him. That's not your typical NFL CB. And he's responding with lots of pass interferences.

He also is the CB that gets run at the most. He is a very thin player and very very average tackler.

He also got manhandled by ND's WR on those quick outs to the flankers. I just think he's too thin and not good enough as a shutdown corner to start in the pros. Can you see him handling any of the best WR's in the NCAA size wise? I don't and that's who he has to cover all the time in the NFL.

I believe our best CB is Jamal Lewis by the way. Roberson may be second best but both have to play safety.

Well, the nice thing about this argument is that we'll see. I think Scott will play #2 CB and nickel in the NFL, and have about 8 seasons worth of work.

why is everyone looking at the DRAFT to determine who is better? I think we'd all agree that Joe Hamilton was one of the greatest players to ever play in college, but he wasn't a first round draft pick.

I don't think that the draft is the best measure of talent. As I said, IMHO the thugs will outscore our Jackets at the combine.

Pro careers are one measure of 'talent'. I think that Joe is a great example of how that is only a partial measure at best.

I wonder just how many more players were drafted from 98-2000 UGA then 98-2000 GT.

There's a helluva lot more to a team then 40 times and vertical jumps.
