At COFH in 2009...
GT was 10-1, ranked #7 in the land, excited about the ACCCG, and nursing hopes of a shot at the NC.
UGA was 6-5, unranked, nowhere close to the SECCG, and looking forward to some minor bowl (Independence, it turned out).
GT was favored but lost — the first time ever that a ranked GT team lost to an unranked UGA team. Still the bitterest loss in CPJ's tenure, IMHO.
At COFH in 2017...

GT is 5-5, unranked, nowhere close to the ACCCG, and hoping to get a chance at a minor bowl (perhaps the Independence).
Seems like a great opportunity to continue the replay of history in reverse.
