However, this is the same local media that literally muttered "Why would he go there?" on air after covering Kemp's swearing in that occurred at Tech and then later stated "Kemp was sworn in today at an arena in Atlanta" leaving Tech out completely.

George P. Burdell wrote a Letter to the Editor years ago as well b/c it's so bad. As has been said before, winning cures all.

Burdell can write to the editors all he wants but it doesn’t change the fact that there are way more UGAY fans in ATL than GT. They need $$$$$

Georgia Sports Writers Association all state football teams came out yesterday. Yeah, yesterday for a season that ended ... lemme see ... one ... two ... a while ago.
Gibbs was his classification's OPOY. Ivey was his classification's DPOY. Ward, Williams, Franks and Stone also named to all state in their respective classes.

That is no excuse for that horrid example cited in the post you quoted.
