If you flunk 12th grade, you've got a long way to go to enter any classroom at GT. This kid needs to get seriously dug in right now. Screw football. He has a chance at setting himself up for life. I wish I could shake these kids into reality sometimes.

I am dissapointed that we lost Sutton to them. Maybe we can flip him before signing day. The others are all from North Carolina where they have the inside track. We need to do well in Florida and Georgia and I think we will.

Truth is North Carolina has always recruited well. North Carolina is a decent football state and they are the big state school.

Mack Brown at a university that bought its way out of the death penalty for academic fraud is a recipe for recruiting numbers. We'll see what it produces on the field. UNC has been a chronic underperfomer compared to their hyped freshmen since rankings began.

Texas probably paid him too much at the end of his tenure and Brown was a victim of raised expectations in the end at Texas.

Texas being ööööed for the last 10 years is Texas' fault, not Browns.
