Just got an email from a ticket rep. So am I correct in assuming that the Clemson game is not included in the Season Ticket package, or am I reading too much into this? Email text below:

As your ticket sales and service rep for all things Georgia Tech Athletics, I wanted to make sure you’re prepared for the renewal process set to begin this week for the 2022 Football Season.

    • Tuesday, February 22nd – Early renewal loyalty discount of $25 per ticket expires (doesn’t apply to already discounted seats)
Have you seen our benefits for the 2022 season?

that's confusing/vague at best and would need some clarification

I take that as "in case of a sell out you have tickets" - they are included in the season tix package.

Yeah, I think they’re saying that because the Clemson game is included in season tix (as we’ve been led to believe since the MBS deal was announced), you’re guaranteed admission if you buy season tix.

They clarified that the Clemson tickets are included.

I would say that "guaranteed access" means yes, it is included. Single tickets for the game however are NOT GUARANTEED.

access to the upper deck rafters. Bring oxygen and enjoy the view of the circular video

The email reply I got said they would try to "replicate" our location similar to where our seats at BDS are located. I know for this past season, our seats were essentially in the same location and all of my season ticket neighbors were in the same general proximity. I heard others were not as lucky.

They didn't exactly live up to that promise for the UNC games, but regardless, I didn't have any complaints about the seats I got

My UNC tickets were more end zone than sideline. But were light-years better than the stratospheric location for the UT game.

It will be interesting to see if they do a lower bowl only for this; interest by GT and Clempson fans will probably be at the lowest its been in 15 years.

All while following the mutts first game . . . (can't type it out) in the same venue a day later.

I think the original plan was to go full stadium for the Clemson game but I hope they are reconsidering.

I got my notice as well. Oh wow, I can't believe they worked out discounts on local attractions that you could find on Groupon. I'm just aching to renew.... And the concession discount is still a joke sigh

Isn't it 2 days later - Saturday - Monday?

Clemson is a home game with Tech season ticket holders getting first assignment of seats. Our tickets to UNC under that system were very comparable to our BDS seats. That's different from the Tennessee game a while back, which was a neutral field game where tickets were split between fans of each team. If it turns out that the Dome is not making good seats available for the Tech season ticket holders, and then distributing the more desirable tickets to single game buyers, it would probably violate the terms of the Tech/MBS contract for that series of games.

If we somehow get stuck in the upper deck for the Clemson game, like we were at the Tennessee game, 2022 may be my last season. Hell, a Tennessee fan buddy of mine picked up seats cheaper than mine for the game in the lower deck.

We are getting a home game ticket allotment for Clemson. The only way Clemson fans will get 50/50 treatment on tickets is if we allow it by not buying them ourselves on the primary market.
