2022 Season Ticket Thread

The email reply I got said they would try to "replicate" our location similar to where our seats at BDS are located. I know for this past season, our seats were essentially in the same location and all of my season ticket neighbors were in the same general proximity. I heard others were not as lucky.
Same here, gold seating at BDS about the same at MB.

He's not alone. I know three families - long time season ticket holders - that have said, "not this year". I'm afraid it is going to be a lot bigger than TStan expected.
FHstinger was a long time season ticker holder from 1982-2018, that's 37 straight years. Not anymore.
:shtstir: Gooff Collins is a joke. 3-9. :stir:

It's time to try to be a big fish in a small pond. Out of curiosity, do you think high school teams that win a state championship in AAA ball are less happy than teams that win a championship in AAAAAA?

Being miserable and always complaining while our fans boycott meaningless or hopeless games is no way to live......

No sarcasm in this question: what do you suggest disgruntled fans do given the current situation?
the money I spend on GT football is family entertainment $$. if i forgo season tix this yr (had them 23 yrs) then what could i spend that money on that would be more entertaining? Hawks come to mind, maybe a game or two. or maybe more than the one Braves game we attend per year. or GT hoops and though its got its own issues ive learned my family enjoys hoops environment a lot more than football. the Clemson game was my 9 year olds first gt hoops game. shes a football veteran, been going since she was 3. but her level of excitement for hoops was off the charts. it really made my day.

If the ticket costs aren’t a big deal, but for whatever reason(s) the product on the field isn’t worth it for a fan, then as @CarsonNewmanJacket posted, donating the money to the program instead would help. We all know that the GTAA needs money and perhaps more than ever in this day and age of NIL deals.

I’m disgruntled as well and I am doubtful of Collins being able to turn it around. I think that TDope isn’t up the job either. I do know that whether they turn things around or new people are in charge, money will be needed.

Even a smaller donation and write a letter/email helps. And ultimately, I’d like to see GT succeed in football (and bball) again.

How about this, don’t by the season tickets, but put in an equivalent donation to the AA and make sure Stan knows to get Collins up and out of here.
My man, either they both go or they both stay. TStan has hitched the wagon. We’ll probably know by the time the sun goes down on October 1 and it won’t take any season ticket holder snubbing the team in favor of a 3k donation to some kind of fund.

Dang it. I misread your post as saying “there’s” a better way. I thought you were saying neither was was good, so I was wondering what you thought the better way was. Disregard my question then. Your original post answered it fine.

I despise Collins, but I still support the team, and I will be there, just as I have been there since 1962, when I was a Rat

I've been on the fence like everyone else recently about buying tix. But just wanted to say, I agree with this wholeheartedly. I despise Collins, and I mentioned that to the ticket rep, but I will still support the team no matter what. Go Jackets

How do I take those ööööty stinger seats off the renewal I ain't paying for them

I was wondering, since they literally drilled holes in the aluminum bleachers without really deburring them to mount the stinger seats, what their plan was for removing them without creating a hazard. Seems likely that there isn’t one.

Was I the only who thought the stringer seats last year were not as comfortable as the in past. Being a kind of big guy (or fat), I would get 3 season tickets so me and my daughter would have room.
