2022 Season Ticket Thread

I still can't believe Thacker is going to be the defensive coordinator, but I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm renewing.
Note to the GTAA, don't send me any flags, bumper stickers, posters, shirts or provide me with so called discounts at the concession stands with my renewal. Just play football.

Was I the only who thought the stringer seats last year were not as comfortable as the in past. Being a kind of big guy (or fat), I would get 3 season tickets so me and my daughter would have room.
Actually, I think they are more comfortable than the older version.

My stinger seat had the mesh pull away from the frame during the first game. These new ones were slightly more comfortable when it was hot, but they are also slightly more narrow and seem to make me sit closer to the row in front of me.

Half the reason I get them is to help stake out my territory, and they are worse at doing that.

It feels like you’re sitting on that anti manspreading chair… I hate them.

You are not as fat as I am :)

Not knowing your size, I can't comment on that, but my friend who comes with me to the games is pretty big, and he likes them. My gripe is that because the rows are so close together, they don't provide much leg room, but that is the fault of the stadium, not the stinger seats.

It is amazing to me that we produce the best engineers and architects in the world and we cannot design comfortable seating with ample leg room for our stadium. Since we are not selling significant amounts of our seating, we should be able to reconfigure for less capacity and more comfort.

Does the $400 ($375 early) cost per ticket, without seat location fees, include the Clemson game at MBS, or will this be billed later?

I’m on the fence whether I’m going to renew or just buy tickets when I need them.

Season Ticket Cons:
- Only 6 home games
- Lots of dedicated money to watch us lose
- Crappy schedule at BDS except for Ole Miss (partially Tech’s fault but also F the ACC)
- There will be no one to purchase my tickets if I can’t make a game because we’re awful
- My best friends are probably not going to renew so locking in seats won’t be the best

Pros:
- I’m giving money to Tech to use to hopefully replace Geoff (assumption)
- I don’t have to worry about trying to get tickets the week or days before the game
- I have a decent spot to watch us lose or a good team play us

I renewed. Those of you whining like little toddlers just go to a flower show or something. My friends and I will be in our seats.
