So even if both your Parents are West Point educated Engineers, going to a Factory to get to the NFL still trumps a 40 yr plan even if your 2 older Brothers graduated from GT and were multi year starters at GT.

If nothing else, maybe they see playing time opportunities. They know the deal and they are looking at different things than we are. Granted, a good performance would be a bonus, but we will work with what we got.
 
They might get a chance to see something they never saw before: TOFSDOGES

Football players make FB decisions first and foremost, then the Academics comes into play.

This is why Academic Qualifiers in the past chose ND over GT, 11 straight years of running the 3O will do that, under CPJ we lost a ton of Academic Qualifiers to Bama, uga, Clemson, Michigan, ND, Stanford and other Colleges.

FB Players want to get to the NFL as their #1 priority, that's expected, when you start playing FB at age 6 or 7 you want to monetize all that hard work, no different than a great student that has great Academics from K-12 and then graduates from College, they too want to monetize all their hard work with a great Job offer.

Too many among us don't understand the "real Marketing pitch" vs that bullcrap put out by the NCAA WRT to any college sport, but especially big time College Sports.

In the future you should write that bolded part above as ATHLETE-student!

Understand, that we can still achieve 100% graduation rates , even if we emphasize the athlete part way more than the student part, but the athletes have to make Academics the "1b" to the Athletics part which is "1a", by giving up socializing, video games, hanging out, idle time, etc.

As a fanbase we have to understand CFB as it exists in 2021, we simply have to adapt and overcome.
