So what’s going on with 2025 recruiting? GT is the only ACC program that doesn’t have any commitments yet. A few only have one but most have 4-6.

2024 recruiting isn’t close to over. Post Spring practice Portal hasn’t opened. We’ll have to see who leaves and who GT can land.

As for 2025, GT is in on a lot of recent ON3 predictions. Right now #2 for a few with USC, SEC, Clemson leading. But it doesn’t even matter at this point. GT hasn’t really ramped up their Spring visits.

It will be interesting to see the HS-Portal ratio going forward. Many experts think it will be closer to 50/50, 40/60 HS to Portal. So lower 3* players who once got P5 (now P4) offers are going to have to go to G5. So G5 talent is actually going to benefit from the new recruiting game. Odd how the Portal has actually tampered down the HS recruiting drama overall. No more stupid antics on NSD.

That said, Mike Farrell has mentioned, HS kids are now asking for $$$ just to go on an OV. That is taking it to a whole new level of ridiculous for an unproven prospect vs a Portal player with CFB experience.
