All the big schools now have taken the Saban method of recruiting: Recruit to certain tangibles, i.e. height, weight, 40 time, etc, and go from there. Granted, some of them are athletic freaks, but as that article from Ken suggested when he interviewed 247Sports about the C'Bo phenomenon in rankings, they will rank higher b/c they are getting the activity/interest.
Tangibles matter most nowadays, and if he didn't have good camps/track speed...didn't get looked at.

Not rly. I disagree.
 
I noticed how the Rivals Top 250 recruits had a “moved up 2 spots” or “moved down 4 spots” ranking symbol. And then I noticed how the uncommitted recruits were skyrocketing up in the rankings. I guess being indecisive gets you more attention and offers if you’re even remotely talented.

Saw where one uncommitted recruit moved up “+63” spots. Did he just magically get better than those other 63 players in the last month or two? I’m gonna go ahead and call that into question and immediately place it in the BS dumpster.
 
It’s a money making scheme...sort of like college football. It’s all rigged in the end.
 
The guy put up video game def stats--40 TFL, 19 sacks--very very quick on rush--might be in a lesser league--
btw, I heard we need a pass rush somewhere

Competition looks weak in the film. The majority of the highlights are him just running around the LT without having to make a move. But that’s not to say the speed/burst won’t translate.
