Of course this isn't a new question or something that hasn't been asked outloud all season long...I just wanted to see what the "pulse" was on this board pertaining to his decision.
I was in Athens and watched CJ walk off the field disgusted after the game...of course I was quite upset myself not only to have lost to UGA but to be (surrounded by 80k plus "barking dogs".....geesshhh.....at least at home I could mute or change the channel).....Burying the hatchet....Moving on!
I thought to myself that it would probably take a miracle to see CJ back w/ us next year....although I have outside hope...I can't see him subjecting himself/reputation as the NATION'S BEST WR in COLLEGE to let it "ride on the river" come what may at QB next year. Any thoughts!:fingersx:

CJ is smart. He must realize that the quarterbacking will get better next year.

He also must realize how much money he might make, and will need some huge insurance policies to justify staying and risking injury in college.

I believe he has a 3 million dollar insurance policy. He repeatedly makes comments that he is at GT for his degree.

When does the draft start?

Wes said that his insurance is for 4/5 million. He also said that the deadline to declare is January 15th, and if he does declare, he also has until January 18th to change his mind.

While it seems crazy when you look at the money involved, every rumor I've heard points to him staying. We'll find out in a month and a half.

if he ends up staying what a "image" to put forth for the younger generations who are watching his every move....Value your education & because your athletic ability will decline as you age or endure/sustain injuries......GO CALVIN I wish you (& the team)the best in these next 2 games of the year.... CONTINUE TO MAKE US PROUD!

what's his relationship like with Bennett?

I think it's about 90/10 he goes just for the obvious reasons. Now if his mom wants him to stay, he might stay but she's a smart woman.

I have noticed (and this is so doggone freeing being able to type this and not have to worry how many followups will attack you) that he and TB seem to have a decent relationship. I sit on about the 30 YL in the West stands for most games. they often smile and hang close to each other. TB is also as tall as CJ which is quite intriguing.

Anyway, I don't know that he likes nor dislikes RB but there is def not chemistry there. But he seems to genuinely like TB. If they are friends and if his mom wants him to stay, he MIGHT. But most likely he has to go. His dad is not Archie Manning and he is not a multi-millionaire already.

I Won't Predict

but I will support his decision either way.

And a senior year on the Flats would be fun for all!

I think he stays. I haven't heard anything in the last 3 years to convince me otherwise.

If he wants to stay that's great, but anybody that truly cares about him will tell him he should go pro.

I am sure he has already been told by most he should go now. Therefore, if he stays it will be his decision and I will be very happy!

I would love to see him play one year at Tech with "another" quarterback.

Why can't we just say we would like to see him on the flats for another year without making the statement like above?

Because I would not want him to stay if the same quarterback had another year. Would you?

Does the same QB have another Year? NO!

So just drop it, you don't like RB that's fine but your bull**** comments aren't needed either.

I'm pissed like you but grow up and let's move on!

I would tell him to do what he wants to do. To heck with anybody else's priority. Guys like the USC QB and Phillip Rivers stayed because that is what they wanted.
Vince Young, QB from Texas left early because that is what he wanted. I want what Calvin wants.

C'mon Mr. Davis, you know exactly what I mean. We may as well have run the wishbone the last 3 years as far as Calvin is concerned.
Maybe the word "another" in italics upset you. I should have said "a new system".

I would love to see Calvin play another year on the flats no matter who his teammates happen to be.
