I was there. I went with a wahoo alumna whose roommate from Wisconsin I was chasing.. ... At least we won the game.

It's 26 years ago. I know the outcome. My heart still tries to jump out of my chest when watching it.

I was 15 years old and watching this game holding on to the rabbit ear antenna, just to make out what was going on. Great memories.

You were making out with a radio? You WERE 15.

That was my senior year in high school after I had applied early to GT. Living in VA everyone was UVA fans but especially that year. That was easily the most talented UVA team ever and we totally crushed their spirits. So satisfying.....

I was attending a convention on St Simons Island. We owned the bar that night, last call was bought by the bartender. No UGA or UVA fans ever showed their colors that night. A great win even with part of the field being burned the day before the game.

The pregame hype was all UVA. It was a splendid win indeed!

Trivia:Bill Curry and Vince Dooley had sons on the UVA squad... Who was the celebrity father of one of the starting linebackers for UVA?

Wow, I forgot about that! Bobby Ross says something like: "if we have to, we'll play this game on concrete ".

Looking at the astro turf in the video ...

90 vs UVA is perhaps the most exciting GT game I have ever seen.

The play I remember most is Tiggle's play near our goal line.

Still, to me, thr greatest GT game is 1962 vs bama. 7 - 6 win so not as exciting, but beating #1 ranked bear Bryant! Oh hell yes.

Very thankful I was able to see both in person.

Damn, you're old. Never mind I was in Daytona that day and was listening to it on the radio on my way back to GT.
