“Poll veterans” know you offer 10 deciles to calculate a score so 1 is 0-1 and 10 is 9-10. You have 9 options. Your .8 option is 88.9% chance.
Also by your logic .2 is 20-30% chance and then .1 is 0-10% chance. I guess we don’t need 10-20% chance.

What does a frosted orange have to do with this
Is it 0.419 or .419 to 0.519? Crosses neutral so poll statistically invalid. Which means every one who voted below 0.9 is wrong. Jackets just won!!2nd chance probability is 0.419, an increase of 25% from the pre-season poll.
Since we are ending up the season more or less than where we expected to be, I'd say the increase is due to the relatively weak product the Dwags are putting on the field this year. Too bad that drunk Stetson Bennett doesn't have another year or two of eligibility, eh?
