3 ACC Players of the Week!

Not one of them signed a scholarship with our grand master of recruiting, Geoff, coming out of high school.
I see where you're coming from but reality is one did sign with him as a PWO then earned a scholarship, and the other 2 were in college before he was here, and one of those was recruited here by him as a transfer, so that's misleading at best.

Congrats. As much as I love Charlie Thomas (he better be careful or one more hit and he's done for this season), but I think Eley played the whole game and played it very well. It should have been a joint award.

Gavin's on scholly?
I hadn't heard that.
If that's happened, it's been very recent.

Clean sweep, dayum!
It's not really a clean sweep. They give out weekly awards for each position.
Still, it's cool as hell and well deserved.

Is he done for the season or does he have to sit out a whole game with another targeting?

Maybe I'm mis-remembering but I thought he had earned one (or at least a temporary yearly one). I know we had several available.

I don't understand what y'all are talking about with Charlie Thomas "sit[ting] out a whole game with another targeting". Targeting in the first half disqualifies for the remainder of the game. Targeting in the second half disqualifies for the FIRST HALF of the next game. As far as I know there is no added penalty for repeat offenses.

Third targeting in the same year requires an additional one game suspension
