#3: Roof Junior!

Has a college head coach's son ever been good at football at this level?

Sadly, dooley's son played a part in beating us at uva. John McKay had a son do ok at USC. Bobby Dodd Jr did ok at Uf. Bud wilkinson had a son play at Duke. These were all starters of some note.

Probably others.

O'Leary son Marty, amirite?

Also, all of Alabama's players are the Sons of Saban, didncha know?

Didn't some of the Bowden's play in college? Pretty sure Terry played RB at WV

This kid is a football player, pure and simple. He is what you are looking for. Tough, aggressive and loves contact. I hope we land 20 more just like him.

Go Jackets!

I am sure he is well adapted to the bend but don't break defense. Perfect fit for our D

I think he'll be extremely valuable with his pops as the DC. I feel like generally an LB is the vocal leader of the defense, making audibles and on the fly pre-snap adjustments. Having someone who has been coached at home by our DC his whole life bodes well for our defensive gameplans being well executed.

They seem to be few and far between, the only pair that comes to mind was John McCay and his WR son J.K. McCay...

most coaches are white, but most players are black. not surprising there aren't a ton of coach kids on the all american lists.
