By the way, I think the Tech job is a whole lot better job than Arkansas.

A certain GT alum disagrees with you. His name is Frank Broyles.

Chan Gaily is qualified given his background and experience.

Gailey had never been a Div 1 A HC or OC, and it shows.

Weis is probably the most misspelled four letter name in college football history.

It's not our fault that he spells his name wrong.

Arkansas has more money and better fan support - why would our job be more attractive?

God people- what's so wrong about an NFL coach? I say we get one that had great success at the college level and bolted for the NFL... A petrino, saban, spurrier let's open up the wallet and get a good catch! I don't wanna fire a winning coach for a mid major fluke coach... The only reason I want to get rid of Gailey is I want an exciting coach who does more than 7 wins and can compete for a MNC...To do that we need a big name...If we get a big name NFL coach it won't hurt recruiting this year it'll help! Big names people big names

Yep UCLA, Arkansa and Nebraska are not that far behind either, this year will be a great market for high profile coaching jobs. I think we will have a hard time competing if our list overlaps that of big programs looking for a great coach (high status or not) to appease the long running frustrated fanbases out there. This is just the beginning watch for Pitt, Clemson, Michigan (tOSU game or bust), Tennessee, Ole Miss, Syracuse (attractive to Edsal) and maybe even Washington to make moves, its going to be slim pickings.
