Perkins was putting up 200+ yds/game in HS, had the power, had the speed, and committed to us a year early. He was billed as the next Dwyer. He contributed, but didn't really stand out. Bostic was a stud QB in college IIRC. He was projected as a 4* CB in college. We moved him to AB and he rode the bench a lot. Missed some wide open catches that I can remember. Probably 2 or 3 better ABs on the '14 squad. Not trying to be harsh, they just didn't live up to the hype.

Don't ever feel like you have to explain yourself for watching Tech highlights. I rewatched the entire '16 Duke game the other day. That shit was a roller coaster ride.

lol what kind of fan am I being? We're talking about recruiting here. I haven't crunched the numbers but I would guess that our staff has recruited more 4-star DL than any other position on the team with the exception of DB.

I don't follow HS football and don't really follow recruiting for this reason. People put expectations on guys who have never played a down of college football. Watching a Bostic highlight I am skeptical of the competition. He looked like one of the bigger guys on the field. Also what I am about to say is going to cause a lot of butthurt around here but calling a guy the next Dwyer is nearly as bad as dwags talking about the next hershel.
