Yes he is, I would have left the meeting. Problem is Mike then would have called the rest of the league and told everyone what happened.
 
I'm not so sure that the meeting with the shrink was all that unique. When I was going through my drug screening/background check/physical evaluation for my job in 1987 I remember squirming in my seat across from a psychologist who put on like he was gravely concerned about my MMPI results for about 15 minutes before sending me on to the next guy; when I got to work I found out he had an axe to grind and did it with a lot of engineers.

Of course, Mover hit it on the head when he said it should have never been public. I'm guessing Singletary's comments weren't right out of the corporate handbook either.
 
This is all you have to do to get out of playing for the 49ers? What do you have to do to get out of a Lions contract?
