Yeah. He's one tough dude. But they have some speed in the backfield and with KSTATE crowding the line, a toss-sweep or pitch-out with a run to the pilon would have worked well.

If your only goal is to get the first down then the QB sneak under center is probably your best play.

But the 4th and short is also a great opportunity to get a lot of easy yards against a tough defense, because the defense is almost entirely focused on stopping the play at the line of scrimmage.

The RB was in on the third down play. I don’t know how they didn’t review it. I agree though, sneak was the better call.

Yeah, the TCU QB was spent but hell you put him under center and load the backfield and just get the push from behind all he has to do is hold on to the ball and let the backs push him in. Yeah, stupid to take the snap in shotgun inside the 5. I did think TCU got some pretty questionable spots form the referee crew.

CPJ would have loved the new rule change to allow the "push". We'd get the QB "Duck" "Push" about 30 times a games. 4 yards (with the push) and a pile of dust.

I mean line it up under center. If u want to be fancy, do something different. Whats the percentage that it works out of the gun?

I always say it is stupid not to go under center with less than a yard, baffles the mind
