4th qtr: 4th and 13. We kick the field goal.

At the risk of stating the obvious, a run and two incomplete passes.

lol

Why would we need a 2 point conversion?

To compare apples to apples.

A field goal and 2 TDs (decision A1) gives us the win
A field goal, another field goal, and a TD with a conversion (decision A2) gives us the tie.

Going for it on 4th and 13 pins you into this path:

A touchdown and a touchdown gives you a tie (A2), or a 2 point conversion on the second TD gives you the win (A1).

If there's a chance that you can get 3 possessions, you kick the FG. If the refs hadn't overturned the fumble, the FG would be a great decision.

After the field goal, we were only down 11, that's just two possessions. And I hope you aren't trying to imply that the fumble was at all even close to being a fumble. If anything you should hold that initial call up as evidence that the refs sucked that night.

Or if #41 could have caught that ball he had his hands on at the BC 5-yard line. If he could have caught that thing he would have walked into the end zone.
