Easy to win 9 when you play 14!

We thought Chan was stuck on 7 wins. He's stuck on 5 L's. Whoever comes to Jacksonville to play us is in for a good time.
 
Umm...I think the Gator Bowl is still tryibg to wiggle out of its commitement. After all, we'll bring like 20 fans or so.
 
It is not a forgone conclusion that we will lose our bowl game. So I would suggest to talk about 5 losses if it actually happens.
 
If we play Texas, we will lose by 3 TD's. Five losses is a done deal.

Are you serious?! We won't have 5 losses? Did you watch today? Or last week? Or Tulsa last year? I'd like to hear how you would get our team up for the bowl game after the last two games.

Also easier to win 9 when you play teams the caliber of Samford and Troy. Not worth a lot of kudos or praise due to Gailey for beating cupcake teams like this. Consequently, we only have 7 quality wins that are worthy of any significant praise in my mind.

I should show up at your work Monday and take all of your freakin milkmoney away. Go buy yourself a hat with a big freakin' "G" on the front and go away. I STILL EXPECT TO WIN OUR BOWL. No, I am not delusional. Yes, I saw the game. Yes, Reggie should be replaced. But damn, giving up is for LOSERS. Our "D" doesn't give up, our O-line played their butts off, TC is a stud as is Calvin. They all played hard and WE give up on THEM!

Reggie has imploded, sure. I don't think he ever recovered from the Maryland injury. He shouldn't be playing. Period. But, coming on here and predicting your teams demise is a freakin' little picked on nerd's way out. Buck up and grow a pair already everyone.

Have you watched RB's performance the last 2 games? Do you really think we are going to beat a UT type caliber team when we can't even beat Wake? Keep dreaming bro!
 
I'm with you two. I've never been supportive of writing in wins or losses. You go out there, you try your best, and you don't leave until the clock says 0:00.

You might think I'm naive for giving us a chance against UT, etc. But, I know that this team was talented enough to hang in with everyone we've played (except for Clemson, obviously). It makes it hard to write off this team, not that I'd like to either way.

I'm not telling anyone not to be mad about our loss (you should be). And, it's your right to write us off if you'd like. Maybe I'm crazy for not doing the same. But, I'd like to think we might just surprise some people in our bowl. Maybe we might even surprise ourselves...
 
Oh no, let's all quit! Hell yes I expect to win the ballgame. Bygawd our team is wounded right now. Yes I have seen the last few games, but I am not a quitter, like you obviously are.

So just crawl back into your little shell and have a little cheese with that whine you got there.
 
Dude, please. I've been watching Tech football since the '70's. Aside from 1990 and 1998, it's always been a huge dissapointment. We never can seal the deal. So call me quitter or whatever you want but our record in football speaks for itself. We haven't beaten UGA for 6 STRAIGHT YEARS for pete's sake!

Easy to be a fan when everything is going swell. Time to circle the wagons and start fighting. We lost the last two games, our QB was horrible. We still should have won the last two games. We were in a position to do it and failed. Contrary to popular belief around here, the sun will still come up tomorrow.

I expect to be competitive and win the Gator bowl.

I also expect anyone that comes into contact with our SA's to give them a "good job" and a "give 'em hell" going into our bowl.
 
I hope we don't have to go through a 7-1 conference record next year....

Me neither, I don't want to sit in the cold rain watching another game like I saw today.
 
Let's face it we had a cupcake schedule. The only real team we beat all year was VT. Samford, Troy, Virginia, NC State, UNC, and Duke were all pushovers this year. Miami was a mediocre team and Maryland is probably the worst 8 win BCS team in the country.

The one thing we accomplished so far is to avoid an embarassing loss to a vastly inferior team (ie Fresno State, Duke, UNC, Utah, etc.....).

Actually, UGA is a worse 8 win BCS team than Maryland.

Oh, wait, they're on our schedule too. And we lost to them.
