Everyone can see Georgia Tech going in wrong direction with Geoff Collins
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Maybe you were down on the Yellow Jackets after they lost their third consecutive game and fourth in five. If so, Geoff Collins didn’t want to hear it. Georgia Tech’s coach said then that only the haters couldn’t see the program’s progress. The Jackets were losing, but the...www.ajc.com
Well... not sure what you are getting paid to post these.. but you're eye for improvement is pretty much terrible. Thats being kind. This is terrible and we need to fire his a**. Immediately. Its not going to get better and it will only get worse with ministered and attendance and on the recruiting trail. We have seen enough. Its gonna cost alot but we HAVE to do this. If you see real improvements then im glad you are optimistic but you clearly are delusional or have Pollyanna syndrome . Get this guy outta here RFN!Incremental improvement…..sorry you can’t see it. He’s not getting fired.
SAT analogy practice...
Geoff Collins : Bill Lewis ::
(a) Joe Biden : Jimmy Carter
(b) COVID-19 : H1N1
(c) Kabul 2021 : Saigon 1975
(d) The Last Jedi : The Phantom Menace
(e) all of the above
Tach can’t afford to NOT fire him. If he stays the fan support next year will be the lowest maybe ever. Attendance has taken a nosedive this year and next year it might be an all time low.Incremental improvement…..sorry you can’t see it. He’s not getting fired.
It may be a situation with an unaffordable buyout, but a financially worse option of lower support. Maybe the buyout is the lesser of two evils?Tach can’t afford to NOT fire him. They’ll come to an agreement like they did with Hewitt. It’ll be spread outIt may be a situation with an unaffordable buyout, but a financially worse option of lower support. Maybe the buyout is the lesser of two evils?
So this article is clearly wrong. It is apparent from reading the posts here that EVERYONE can't see it. Jts1027 can't see it. JJacket can't see it. There are others.Good article from Cunningham. Sums up my feelings.
His buyout is more than that.If 10K fans are lost for say 3 years, at $50 per ticket, for 21 home games, that’s $10.5M in base ticket sales, and that’s not figuring in Tech fund costs, concessions, parking, etc.
He shows he is just as stupid in football as he is in basketball.
There will be a settlement spread over multiple years. It won’t be a lump sum paymentHis buyout is more than that.
