Would've been nice to get 2 TEs off of this list of Guys from In State.

This was a banner year for TEs in GA and we got shut out, we have to start targeting guys that are Top5 at their Position in the State of GA

Lol at this being on our end. That seems like something KQ would say with no proof whatsoever to get favor with the staff. Maybe it's true, but it probably isn't since he flipped to an ACC school.
 
Y'all suck as fans. It's not like this is some irreplaceable, elite TE recruit. There were less than 10 posts celebrating his actual commitment... we've more than doubled the amount of "yay, he's committed" post with "we suck, he decommitted posts."

We're about to go hard at the portal because coaches know it's win or go home time. No time to develop players for contributions 3-4 years down the road. Probably will be looking hard at grad transfers, etc who we expect will contribute right away.

A lot has changed in 1.5 months it seems then.

The current coaching staff’s pitch to transfers, Come to GT and play the worst football of your career. That’s how it’s played out so far with Collins in charge.

Is this based on some inside track you have or just wishful thinking?
 
This is where all of Geoff's effort went after not answering us fans, right? Didn't he say his focus was exclusively on the players? The players be like "kthxbai".

I mean, if we see movement from our higher rated recruits, then it is time to be concerned. But this was one of our lowest rated. FWIW, I don't think the insiders hesitate to say when we just miss on a guy.

I believe we are trying to go for guys who are ready to play at certain positions because I don't think this staff can wait to develop projects at this point.

That looks like Maryland HS FB that is played at a pretty low level, in a State like that once you get past the Top15 to 20 Players, just come back to GA and find a better player.

The overall Talent I saw in that clip would get smoked by most Class-AA Schools in GA, I'm talking about the ones that don't make the Playoffs

Our additions through the portal, to date, have done nothing to improve our team. Given the staffs inability to evaluate talent, don't see this changing.

How many of our additions through HS recruiting have materially improved the team? 3 wins x 3 years would say not many. Your point is invalid.
