I think it’s the coaching, not the players. Our players seem to get worse the longer they are part of the program, which boils down to coaching.

This. We regressed since the UNC game while everyone we play has gotten better. Including UNC.

Correction: our RB’s played well enough. Sims looked like öööö which was partially the result of our atrocious OL play.

I don’t know what was wrong with Sims. It wasn’t like the OL was worse than usual yesterday, at least until Minihan went out, and he was bouncing balls and throwing to nobody. Still can’t get the touch right on screen passes (and the announcers called him out on it). Lost 7 yards on a backward pass throwaway. Heaved the last Hail Mary 10 yards out of bounds so that it never even had a chance to succeed.

He’s looked pretty good at times, but yesterday wasn’t one of those times.

We have had the luxury of playing 4 of the worst 5 defenses in the conference (we can’t play ourselves). Our offense has regressed to an all or nothing proposition. We just can’t sustain drives.

CPJ at the end was even better than the 9-22 CGC record.... Factor in this, with this Oline talent (Multiple SEC guys) CPJ probably wins the ACC and get GT in the CFP this year.

We need 3 and outs, just every so often. The defense contributed points, but I would like to see a stop at some point.
