We beat NC State 128-0 in 1918. We should really celebrate that victory.
 
I know Cumberland was the blowout of blowouts, but the Defense was averaging 2.2 pts/game. Pretty good look. Certainly wasn't no TR coached D. Perhaps he could look at the stone carvings to get some pointers.

The article leaves out the fact that Cumberland's coach had stacked his team with pros he recruited out of Nashville to win this game and that is why Coach Heisman ran the score up.
 
I'm surprised the adminstration is recognizing this event. It doesn't live up to our Gold Standards.
