A Positive Spread Option Article?!?!

There are? I don't think there are that many unique offenses out there. Or at least not that are (1) still legal and (2) proven to work.
Air raid offense by Mike Leach. It's considered a quirky odd ball like GT's but is good at putting marginal athletes into position to make plays. Just like GT's offense, it is also hard to field a competent defense because you dont have a decent scout team offense to practice against. It's a double edge sword.

To this crowd, I say look at our defense. Under defensive coordinator Ted Roof, the defense has ranked 95th, 73rd, and 68th in FBS in yards per play over the past three years. Look at our special teams.
This part of the article seems to deflect accountability to the HC for these issues. When have we *ever* fielded a good defense or ST unit under CPJ? At which point do you stop blaming the just-fired DC and ask the HC why he can't design a defensive scheme? It does you no good to score 30 points a game when you give up 35 per game.
