What if they are looking at porn? A brotha can get horny while sitting in the stands, ya know.

Well if they are looking at porn I'd like them to get the hell out of my stadium so I can cheer on my Jackets.:laugher:

If he's the best we can do, we should have waited four years, won 7 games a year and then revisit the issue.

What's this "best we can do?" There are a lot of coaches interested in this job. If we choose WM, it means he's the person DRad believe is best for the job. Period.

We've seen nothing to suggest this is about money, or a lack of interest/pool of candidates. If it is WM, as it sounds like it well could be, we chose him; we didn't let the field choose for us.

Support our coach, whomever he is.

Based on this poll, Muschamp will do good to have 2/3 of Tech fans supporting him. If they hire Muschamp, his very first words better be something witty and/or dripping with hate regarding UGAg. He would need to put to rest the UGAg issue IMMEDIATELY. The longer it's left out there in play the more divided the fan base will be. Especially if he loses. ESPECIALLY if he loses to UGAg.

Muschamp can go to hell. I don't want him. I don't want anyone I don't think will make GT home or hate UGA with the same passion that I do.

I want a coach that wants to beat UGA by 60 points, keep running up the score with 2 minutes left, and then wants them to crash their bus on the way back to Athens.

Neuheisel is completely unacceptable. His results are less consistent than the guy we just fired and his last two schools were both investigated by the NCAA when he was leaving.

Johnson, Hatcher, or Strong - in that order.

++++++1 Yes finally someone who feels like I do. I cannot stand the mutts. We need to whip their ass.

One of the biggest reasons for hiring RN is he knows how to be his in state rivals in a big way. Look at his record. The thing at UW is just a complete joke no matter what anyone says.

I'm not confused about the gambling thing - I know what happened. I don't even know what 'did' happen to prompt an NCAA investigation at two out of two schools he coached. I just know it happened and two out of two is no coincidence.

I also know he had may more leeway than CG ever thought about and his record overall was not as consistent as Gailey's. He had some better years, but he had a couple of horrible ones also - not to mention the wins that were changed to losses after some of his issues.

He played ineligible players, and still had a losing season.

I'm not even saying he's a bad coach. I'm just saying that if we bring in a guy that left two schools under investigation, and didn't even have a better record than the guy we just fired - then we deserve anything we get.

Not to mention that he currently is in charge of one of the most talked about horrible offenses in the NFL right now.

Better get used to the name calling and posters siding up and fighting each other. Because the lines are already being drawn.

I'm with you, no way EVER, I will accept a dog as head coach of GT. One as An asst. might be fine, but not Head Coach. There was a good discussion on this subject over on the Bama board, with their fan's saying no way in Hades they would ever hire an Auburn alum as head coach.

People this isnt just a rival (Like a Vince Dooley being from Auburn) this is an in-state ARCH rival. Never been done before as to a HEAD football coach here in the South and I don't want us to be the 1st.

So far, indicative of what will happen if the Dawg is given the job. A divided fanbase.

I won't be joining the Fire Muschamp crowd or anything, and he will have a clean slate as far as I'm concerned but I'm giving the dawg a short leash.

Bump...
We only have 96 people that have voted. I would like to see more participate.

I'm on the fence but NOT because he is a dog.Can he relate to an academic school situation and can he MANAGE a TEAM and not just scream at a defense to kill..

Maybe, he comes cheap? $500,000 a year.

Where's the choice for "If's he good enough for D-Rad and the search committee he's good enough for me".

I'm sure cost has been a factor in the search but not the 1st (or even 2nd or 3rd) most important factor.

And he'll certainly be closer to $1M per than $0.5M per.
