How old are the ones recruited by Collins?
We have a former QB, who converted 2 years ago, playing significant minutes at CB. It says a lot about his recruits who have been playing that position their entire lives.

So, is it Collins can’t spot talent as well as he or others claim? Or is it he can’t identify talent once it’s on the roster?

I see you didn’t answer the question. Please let me know when you do.

You’re allowed to play freshman. That rule was changed in 1972.

Geoff Collins: My recruits need time to develop.

Also Geoff Collins: Hi. You played QB. Switch to CB and play right away.
We are paying freshmen. But we only have so many of them. How many CB recruits have we gotten in Collins' two recruiting classes? It takes way longer than that.

I see. I can’t say I disagree. If you struggle spotting talent in recruiting, you need to make it up through sheer volume on the account of your lousy hit rate.

Sixteen…versus only five upperclassmen DBs on the roster - four of which start. The team we lost to yesterday started two freshman safeties. It doesn’t take “way longer than that”.

So we've recruited 16 CB's in two classes? That's actually surprising. Who are they?
