ACC teams are all finished in the bowls and the numbers are:

Wins.......................................2
Losses.................................6
Points scored for ACC..........187
Points scored against ACC....205

Biggest margin win:
Wake Forrest over U.Conn...24-10=14 pts.
Closest margin win:
B.C. over Mich. St..............24-21=3 pts.

Biggest margin loss:
GT loses to Fresno St. by......12 pts.
Closest margin loss:
3 way tie, UVA-VT-Clemson by...3 pts.
 
ACC did TERRIBLE.

..and our conference champ got thumped, too. Guess we cannot make the claim the ACC is equal or better than other conferences because obviously that isn't the case. So, are we back to being a basketball conference now?

UF has won 2 in a row and they cant' sell out their place. The SEC is simply a football only conference where womens gymnastics serve a purpose as long as the coaches will fool around with the football coaches.

The SEC is a football only conference. BTW, bow many black students does Uga have? I didn't see a black face...heck even a brown face in a black shirt in NOLA.

Talk about a slave system they've got going in Athens...wow! hope the pimps on the football team don't wake up to the racism in athens or they might start going to Bama.
 
I went to the Chick-Fil-A bowl. Great game (one of the few this bowl season) against 2 evenly matched teams. Both teams made their share of plays.

Guess all the "black" and "brown" faces were in Boise.
 
I didn't start the thread about the ACC 's performance in the bowls. However, I did follow up in agreement with a post that the ACC showing was terrible. No disputing that. We always claim how the ACC is just as good as ____, but reality seems to say otherwise. Never mentioned GT here, just the ACC. Now, if you want to talk about our showing vs Fresno State (with 8 suspended players) in the WAC conference....

There were some brown faces rooting for GT in Boise. How many did you see in NOLA in black shirts? What color shirt did you wear?

Again, the SEC is a football conference catering to rednecks. They care about basketball about as much as they care asbout "colored" people.

I didn't say anything about all that. I simply asked if there is anything you like about Tech? Anything at all? Because I've never seen you say anthing positive at all.

So what about in 2006 when LSU and UF made it to the Final Four and in 2007 when UF made it again? BTW, there were no ACC teams in the final four either year.

Facts have no place here! Just like the Bowl record for the ACC. Don't you know we're suppose to not talk about that? ..and if we do, we have say that other conferences or schools win because they're racist and slave schools? ..geez, didn't your mama teach you anything? ;)
 
Hard to dispute anything Geetee said about the ACC right now, guess the "ignore user" feature is necessary for some of you.

Two teams does not a conference make. In fact, as we all know, it is easier to make the national title game out of a weak conference than a strong conference, though the advantage is much less pronounced in basketball. The SEC may get great basketball teams every now and then, but, by their own admission, you'd be a fool to think it's anything but a football conference. When you are talking basketball, the ACC and the SEC simply cannot be compared, even if the ACC has experienced a down 2-3 years and the SEC the opposite.

NCAA brackets are against all schools and conferences... You point would be legit if you said it was easier to get in the dance with a weaker conf, but to get to the title game is a different animal.
