When I don't have a dog in the fight, I typically pull for the underdog.

It has nothing to do with GT, I have no idea why you keep trying to tie those 2 things together.
 
I barely watched any of the game but yeah the fake slide will definitely get a rule change. Smart move to do it, though.

NCAA Rule 4, Section 1, Article 3(r) "A live ball becomes dead and an official shall sound their whistle or declare it dead (w)hen a ball carrier obviously begins a feet-first slide."

Was it obvious? Maybe, but that's on the refs - they could have called him down. Such a nice run, though.

It was obvious enough to make the defenders stop playing. It should be reviewable and called down where Pickett slows and starts to drop down. It's a great play and a great loophole to use, but if QBs are supposed to be protected during their slide, then they shouldn't be allowed to fake it. An alternative would be to remove any additional protection the QBs get for sliding, then they can fake it all they want. It's the same idea as the fake fair catch that caused a rule change a couple years ago. You're not allowed to use loopholes in the rules that off you additional protection.
 
That was a pussy move. Can't wait till he tries it in the NFL and they RGIII his pussy ass.
