ACC Coaches talk anonymously about conference foes

I was ready to pick which comment came from Ted Roof -then I realized he’s now DC at App State.

One thing to remember is (position) coaches are a lot more focused on their own team and only learn what they need to know about other teams so they can negatively recruit against them. And the kind of (position) coach that volunteers info to the media on a not for attribution basis are also almost always buttholes. (I particularly liked the obvious dinosaur who sneered at our social media presence. Seems like someone is recruiting against us and having problems. LOL.)

"They're going to have to rework their entire offensive line. We've had some visiting coaches who saw Tech tell us they're a ways off of being even decent. That's what you expect, though. These guys are smaller, four-point stance guys who have never gone into proper pass protection schemes."

This was probably true... in the spring. We are not as small as we were when Lew came to town. We have a pass pro learning curve, but it is not as bad as it was. I hope they build their game plan against us on old data. Still, despite our added size (Southers, etc.) the OL will not be a team strength.

The comments on CGC are prolly from Mack Brown. They sound more like they came from a media commentator than a coach, and Mack is coming off doing that for too long. It also sounds like his speech pattern as much as Dabo's.

Pretty much all the comments sound like they were made in or based on early spring, not anytime recently.
