The Big Trn is building a national network of households paying for their network. The SEC is building a network of compelling games.
The ACC has the households, it needs compelling games and WV brings that against Pitt, VPI and maybe UVA and UL.
If the ACC does not take CFU (they should when or if FSU leaves), then they should take WV and Cincy. I just don’t see any good options to get to 16.

An 0-1 team that got beat by Pitt and may take a öööö in the seat of our marching band? No thanks.

There are enough good teams left in the PAC/Big12/ACC to make a compelling football conference that can provide games from noon to midnight. Some schools would get left out. Except for CA, TX, and FL you would only want 1 school per state. 16 teams would be ideal for maximizing per school revenue, but you could make a case for 20. East/West divisions, 7 divisional games, 3 crossover games based on finish the year prior. You may never play a team from the other division if you are alway good and they are bad.

FSU
Miami
GT
Clem
UNC/NCSt (pick 1)
VT/UVa (pick 1)
WVU
Pitt
Ok St
TT/Baylor/TCU/Houston (pick 1)
CO
UT/BYU (pick 1)
ASU/AU
Stan
UW
Oregon

Additional consideration would be:
BC
Kansas (BB)
Extra Texas School
Extra CA school
ND, but they would join B1G or SEC first

The ACC HAS TO, has to, grow. I feel that any conference that isn't looking to grow, right now, will get left behind. I am not sure if WVU is the answer. I like UConn, just from the basketball aspect, Notre Dame (pipe dream), Maryland, East Carolina, UCF, Cincinnati and APP State. Yes, App State. I think they have an up and coming program. I think Notre Dame is out of reach, personally. I also think WVU would be more than likely picked up by the Big 10, over the ACC.

Additional TV watching eyeballs for the ACC!

You started strong, but pretty much everything starting at UCONN to the end was total öööö.

The ACC should add the other FBS "tech" schools: Texas Tech, LA Tech. We could have a battle Royale for the Techs, to see who can rightfully claim the moniker "Tech."

UConn? Is this a joke?

Maryland is every bit as much a pipe dream as ND.

As far as UCONN goes, UCF showed exactly how they felt about a program like UCONN when UCONN invented a rivalry with UCF, made a trophy, and then when UCF won the game they left the trophy UCONN had made on the visitor's bench, went to the airport, and flew back to Orlando.

Hell, that trophy is probably in a basement janitor's closet somewhere on UCONN'S campus now.

Yeah, sure. Why not? We already have a South Carolina Cow College and a Virginia Cow College. Why not add another one from West By God Virginny! Besides, WVU will give FSU someone to look down on academically,

Meh….we’ve already got Louisville. Nonetheless, I’ve long been in favor of adding WVU to the ACC.

With the exception of Notre Dame and MD, every single one of those other schools are dogshit schools that have no place in the ACC. If you're gonna take ööööing App St, why not also take those pot-smoking rednecks from GA Southern too? Hell, let's invite GA State and Kennesaw ST too!

UCF and Cinci have been MUCH better than Tech the last several years. Much. If they're dogshit, what do you think about Tech?

Oklahoma State, Stanford, Washington, and Oregon are all highly appealing and would be at the top of my list.... like right now Jim Phillips!!
