ACC should take WV

The Big Trn is building a national network of households paying for their network. The SEC is building a network of compelling games.
The ACC has the households, it needs compelling games and WV brings that against Pitt, VPI and maybe UVA and UL.
If the ACC does not take CFU (they should when or if FSU leaves), then they should take WV and Cincy. I just don’t see any good options to get to 16.
depending on source the B10 owns 39% or 49% of the B10 network whereas ACC/SEC are wholly owned by espn(disney).
I wonder how much that factors into the payout?

Oklahoma State, Stanford, Washington, and Oregon are all highly appealing and would be at the top of my list.... like right now Jim Phillips!!

It only works if you burn off a good chunk of the current conferences and if you can have compelling matchup at each of the 4 time slots. Having 4 NC schools does very little for football revenue. Obviously Duke and UNC bring in BB money, but football is the revenue driver. UNC would be the plum of that group. VT is probably a bigger draw than UVa for TV ratings.

Teams like Wake, Iowa State, and Cal don’t really move the revenue needle very much.

Where do we sign up, ceety boy?

ACC needs to demand more money for their media rights. That's the issue that is putting the conference in peril. Miami and FSU aren't going to sit around and collect $30mil checks while the Gators are getting $100mil. Tech shouldn't either.

Why would people pay money to watch teams lose to Old Dominion?
