According to Wake board we\'re set for Silicon

Several posters claim they heard it directly from Wake AD Wellman that Wake will play Oregon in Seattle, UVA will go to Charlotte and that we gave up the ACC slot in Seattle for the Silicon Valley bowl. Assume that would match us with Fresno State.

Anybody heard anything?

I have not heard or read anything to support that but I HAVE seen VT slated for the Silicon bowl. I would love to go there instead of Seattle again because I think we were fortunate last year to not have any rain. The only problem with the aformentioned scenario (Tech to Silicon) is that the Big East is also +1 and they will have to put somebody somewhere. I just don't know where they can be shoehorned in. You have to think a bowl game would want a VT or BC over Wake.
