AD candidates

I don’t know how old you are but Atlanta has the dubious history of having 2 professional hockey teams to move out of town due to lack of interest. The Flames and later the Thrashers.
You might want to read up on your dubious history. It was ownership issues, not attendance, in each case. And, FWIW, there still is a hockey team in town.

I’ve stand corrected on the only hockey team in town. I was using Brentwood Jacket as my source.
Living in Tennessee I was unaware that Atlanta had a team. I doubt most people in Atlanta are aware. I still feel like high level college hockey could draw enough to break even given the northern transplants and BIG 10 alumni.
I do agree that the failure of NHL hockey in Atlanta was an ownership issue.
Back to the issue of finding a competent AD.

Nobody cares about the non-revenue sports which is why they’re “non-revenue”. Saying we do so well with non-revenue sports as a reason to why you don’t think Dingleberry shouldn’t be fired and then recommending another “Tech guy” for the job pretty much solidified my opinion that your suggestion for AD hire is dog öööö.
If you have great Football, then you’re pretty damn well set as an AD in the South. Even basketball is an afterthought comparatively. We need an AD who will focus 90% of his attention on getting football to a good place. Some of these non-revenue sports the AD shouldn’t even answer the phone if the coach calls.
