Because the line blocks the way they do knowing Marshall will either make the wrong decision with the ball or change the play to the wrong one. And the line probably spent the entire bowl practice sessions thinking what is the point of all this? I’m not going to be doing this next year.
 
I don't owe him anything for wearing a GT uniform. He was pampered through a school that was paid for. He's not a selfless, brave warrior playing for me or any other fans because he got tackled playing a game he wanted to play. I respect the countless guys who have represented GT well. He plays selfish and wants to be a dwag. If he actually went through school the way any of us did he would be prepared for brutal criticism. Good riddance.

Nothing personal and don't even want to pile on, but you just can't have a guy that limited be your starting QB for 2 years at this level. Absolutely finished off the option, perception-wise, among the fanbase. Have to believe Ratliffe, Lucas Johnson, or Matthew Jordan would have started if available.

22 rushes, 75 yds. There is not another coach in the world that would not have put in his backup QB after the 1st quarter, except johnson! He didn't care about the team, he only wanted TQ to get his 110 yds for the record! Glad johnson is gone, I hope he getsback to NC and sits on his porch explaining to some squirrel how good his TO is.

Oliver almost had as many yards in the game
 
Oliver got in against a tired defense--though he's quick and obviously has a bright future. The real issue was blocking from what I saw. Pitch option just wasn't there, and the dive was ineffective. Neither of those were on Marshall. Blocking's the lifeblood of this or any offense.
 
I do not know Taquon. Never met him. I will say this: if a stranger told me that this young man at the young of age 23 graduated from GT, started as a QB, endured and managed what a true college athlete must. Probably played hurt on occasion, took some knocks and got back up. No drug issues. No criminal issues. No female beating videos. I think I might say well done young man. You made your family proud. Especially when compared to what I was doing at 23.

Yet he still cheered for ugag as the starting qb at GT. Terrible
 
Dumping the entire fault of our performance on tq shows you to be as poor in analysis as you are in maturity.
 
Agree that cheering for mutts is terrible. Was he cheering or hanging with HS friends or kids he grew up with? Like I said I have no idea on these details. Was not there. Just commenting on the notable things on his resume. I have learned in my senior years that these are kids and if this is the biggest mistake he is indicted for he will do ok in life. and I suspect there are a lot of parents out there that would point with pride to this sons track record. That’s all I got to say about that.

-- Graduate and make more money than the OP so he can then tell the OP to EABOD.

Because the CPJ lovers needed something to explain why our team full of seniors was playing like crap all season long and they decided the easiest excuse was Marshall.

Never mind that if he was indeed the cause of the problems he was not the one who made a decision to play a single snap. That was all on CPJ.
