Ahmarean Brown Highlights

I remember seeing him warm up at the Citadel game and thinking, "this guy is way too small to be effective." I was way off. The guy can absolutely fly. He'll never out jump a tall CB, and he doesn't break tackles, but he gets so much separation that a ball thrown in stride will always be a touchdown. He just didn't get many balls thrown in stride last year.

Placed fourth at the 2017 Florida 2A state track championships in the 100m (10.40 seconds)

Reminder: Collins recruited the best player on our roster last year in less than 2 weeks on the job.
Not discounting your point but Collins recruited him at Temple - Brown didn't want to go to Temple and committed to Maryland. When Collins took the GT job he re-opened the file on Brown who apparently liked GT more than either Maryland or Temple.

Here's another tidbit. Our entire team scored 200 points last year - offense, special teams, defense, field goals, extra points, etc. Brown scored 42 of them. So for fun, subtract all the points from XP, 2XP, FG, fake punts and defensive scores which leaves 152 points. So Brown scored 42/152 = 27%. Not bad for a freshman WR. Not bad at all.
