All White...

This white pants/white shirt combo is the first time I've liked our uniforms. We looked good.

And played pretty well, too, since I guess that's important...
 
White pants are a MUST with the new jerseys, they actually looked pretty sharp out there!

Are we keeping them?

I do believe, am quite confident but could be wrong, that The Kid and crew wore Gold/White/White in the usc win in the early sixties.

Pretty sure.

The unis today looked much better than the Gold/White/Gold.
 
The uni was great but took some getting used to. I kept focusing on the GT on the helmets and reminding myself that this was Georgia Tech. Good all round though. I want to see the blue jerseys now.:biggthumpup:

P.S - the helmet color is not quite right. don't know what it is exactly but it needs to be tweaked. needs more gold or something.

I guess bout any uniform will work so long as their BUTT doesn't hang out and they have to run with one hand holding up their pants.

If you have the chance, go by the bookstore near campus. They have the white, blue, and gold jerseys for sale. The blue ones are navy with the stripes/numbers as gold. The words "Georgia Tech" and the small horizontal stripe are white. The gold jersey is the inverse of that, iirc.

I don't know if that's bad lighting, or a bad picture, but that looks hideous. Beej can jump on me all he wants, but that isn't close to the Navy blue we use. It looks like a new template for a St. Louis Rams uni.

That happened less than a half-century ago. How could either of us be uncertain? :)
 
I wouldn't mind staying with the all white home and away , looked sharp to me..
 
I really just don't like the new uniforms. But, I like
2-0. Win with uniforms I don't like or lose with ones I like? Easy call.

At some point I think we need to figure out our brand - I guess it remains the interlocked GT. The best colleges have uniforms that are their brand - Auburn Penn State, FSU, Bama, Texas, Nebraska, USC, etc. They are recognized by that uniform, and they tweak it very carefully and only occasionally. Whatever we decide, I want us to get a look that people know its Georgia Tech at first glance.

The thing is, I thought he had a pretty decent branding of our uniforms. The old gold helmet showed up in the background of College Gameday Final again yesterday.

Bad picture...the ones in the bookstore look a lot different than that, colorwise.
