Almost sold-out!

lets just hope that it isn't all maroon-and-orange buying the tickets...

this fanbase travels very well, and now that they're #4 its a no-brainer to make the trip. But I could see it being mostly GT fans because when #2 ND came to town, it was a record attendance to come see us... try to.... beat the Irish.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with the ND crowd. Thought it was going to be maybe a 70/30 split or worse, but it definitely wasn't. They had their allotted section filled up and really not all that much else. Hopefully we see the same thing against VT.

I feel like it'll be more of an FSU 2008 showing. It was garnet and gold in the visitor section, the upper deck in the southwest corner, all along the fringes, and 75% of the upper south stands were all in garnet-and-gold. I think VT is gonna bring a lot of people like that.

I was in the student section in 2007 so I didn't notice if there were a lot of VT fans in the upper deck of the S Stands.
 
No way VT brings as many as FSU did last year. VT does travel well, but overall they have a smaller fanbase and are an extra 3 hours away than FSU.

I'm thinking they will have a little more than Clemson did this year.

Just ordered my 2...

Based on what I've seen their fan base doesn't travel that well, at least to Atlanta. Maybe its because we've played them at least 2 times on Thursday night.
 
They bring as many as clemson this year and then we fill out the rest of the North Upper, I would be VERY HAPPY. I can't wait for Saturday!
 
You guys have no clue if you think thet VT's fanbase is like ours... These people are what we should aspire to be. They're great fans, they travel well, they sell out all of their home games, and they always support their team even in bad times. They're some of the best, most loyal fans out there!

When they were at tech visiting our fraternity before the chickfila kick off they were acting like we had never been to a football game. They asked me if I knew about Virginia Tech vs. Alabama that was taking place down the street from us. I asked him how many nc vpi had. I CANT STAND VPI FANS!
 
Oh, and after the game they came back to sleep on our couches and one of their guys woke up and pissed all over three girls that came with them, and then laid back down in his own piss...

I've been to most of the SEC and ACC stadiumsn and Lane is the loudest I've heard.

Also, I thought they travelled quite well to the Thurs night game a few years ago.

Upper Premium Sideline 204 Row 19 - just got 1 ticket on StubHub for $50. Guess I'm going alone, sorry kido's :D

Better take my inhaler, the air might be thin way up there.
