Am I the only one who thinks ESPN sucks?

ESPN was not prepared to broadcast a national game last night.

The crew calling the game suffered from foot in mouth for the entire game, very awkward play comentary; the first quarter was nearly over before the broadcast engineers figured out how to post the "down/yds-to-go" at the top of the screen; the power outage.......

71 you and I actually agree on something! Several times the announcers stated GT was on offense when BYU was and vice versa. They basically had no clue. ESPN can do better.

I think it was due to the fact that it was on ESPN 2 and that the popular Corso, Herbstreit and (That other guy) trio was not calling it. At least the Maryland game will be on ESPN and have the good crew working the game.

and what was that bit where they "lost" the feed all about? They weren't broadcasting from the moon!

71YJ, I agree. The ESPN2 Crew last night
sucked! I got so sick of it, I grabbed
a radio and tried to find Wes and Kim on it.

Now I live in Suwanee, so I couldn't pick
up AM 790. However, I was able to pick
up 102 FM "The Lake" ( I guess they are
out of Gainsville (sp?)) and they were
carrying the game. There was a 2 second delay
on the TV, but I didn't care. ANYTHING WAS
better than listening to those two guys
keep repeating "This is a huge game for
BYU".
