That might be the result of Hivers attending the games rather than sitting at home and watching on TV.

I'm not too optimistic about this hire. The numbers aren't on Roof's side, and he's had a history of fielding bad defenses. But I'll hope to be proven wrong. Maybe he's gotten better through the years? Learned from his failures?

Maybe Roof has developed good recruiting connections around Alabama and Georgia and will help us there. If he's a sorry DC and gets us a Nick Fairley to destroy the Murrays of the world, we'll be better off.

Back in 2001 the lunch before the UGA game with O'Leary someone ask Teddy about his defense and why the prevent defense was used so often. Ted could not answer the question. That was 2001. I was on the road yesterday, I will watch the replay and see how far off the line we played. My guess before halftime is about 20 yards off the line, little quick slants and a first down and score going into halftime. Great game to listen to on the radio, it must have been tough for the real fans who stayed till the game was over.

gtfan and I were banned from the hive.. I had wanted to open a GT message board earlier but we weren't sure the GT fan base would or could support two message boards. The silencing of criticism by the hive and our banning seemed to make the time right. and yes, in my case, it was the criticism of the SAME defensive coordinator we are now saddled with that led to my banning. :eekfacepalm: and the coaching staff as a whole for negotiating with Notre Dame during the season.

Awesome. I too was banned for voicing complaints about the coaching staff. Honestly didn’t even know about this place.
