TT, I don't disagree with what you wrote.
I now see that what I wrote could have been taken a few ways.
What I meant was that by not having an AD in place now, there will be speculation on Gailey's immediate future, especially with a non signed contract floating around.
We all saw this coming, but Tech is in a pickle right now. I just don't see Gailey's contract getting signed until his new boss is hired. The only type of AD we could attract is a Damon Evans guy. What is meant by that is I believe Evans is a yes man for either Adams or Dooley.
I don't know which one, and I really don't care.
When you carry that further, without having a coach under contract, this year's recruiting class is feeling pretty shaky right now I would think.
So technically, at the present time Tech has both a lame duck AD, and a football coach in the last year of his contract.
I agree with you that CG will coach the 2006 season at least. However, plenty of things need to be wrapped up quickly imo.
