I'm more interested in the records against top 25:

Big XII: 15-36 (0.294)
Big 10: 11-21 (.0344)
SEC: 17-32 (0.347)
ACC: 20-12 (0.625)

The numbers are even more skewed if you look at records against Sagarin's top 30.

When considering that 75% of all games are in conference, what does that statistic actually say?

Isolating for non-conference games against top-25, these are the new numbers:

Big XII: 3-2 (0.600)
Big Ten: 1-3 (0.250)
SEC: 3-3 (0.500)
ACC: 4-5 (0.444)

The ACC played more ooc games against ranked opponents than the others, posted an overall losing record against them but still put up more overall wins.

Isolating instead for conference games against top-25, the numbers are:

Big XII: 12-34 (0.261)
Big Ten: 10-18 (0.357)
SEC: 14-29 (0.326)
ACC: 16-7 (0.696)

Since we're the only conference with a winning record against intra-conference top 25 opponents, I think that suggests that there's more parity than mediocrity.

Thanks Johan. Exactly what i was looking for...

Does anyone have any stats on total non-conference records for all of the bcs conferences?
