Another Bullet To Dodge

Gene Chizik (Texas' DC) just got hired as the Iowa St. head coach. There is a bunch of similarities between Chizik's and Tenuta's coaching philosophies. I expect his name to be tossed around with the likes of Bo Pellini of LSU and Randy Shannon of The U. The think Mack Brown typically looks for younger assistant coaches but who knows. Let's hope Jon Tenuta gets passed up for Georgia Tech's sake.

I doubt Tenuta would make a lateral move. He's already one of the highest pay coordinatators in the nation.

What scares the **** out of me is the UVA job opening up next year or the year after. He went to college there and many UVA fans are already thinking about him coming there to coach.
