Another Visit to the Archives (or: "It Never Gets Old")

Before the start of the 1990 season, Coach Bobby Ross was cautiously optimistic.

A few wins later, a picture of William Bell was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and Tech was at 7-0-1, and starting to think big.

By the end of the 1990 season, Tech was undefeated, but still looking for "respect".

There was some talk about a school in Colorado, but nobody we cared about gave it much thought.

There was a football game in Florida, just like this year.

Alumni were happy.

And, there was even a parade.

I envy you, I was only three years old in 1990. If I listed a few of the things I'd be willing to do in order to witness a Tech national championship, I'd certainly end up on some government watch lists.
