Any advise on parking at the Ga. Dome for

our game ?

I see on the Ga. Dome website that they are offering for $30.00 a parking pass in the blue lot with 2 fanfest tickets...Is this a good deal and can we get there around 12:00 noon and park ? Where to eat and not go broke? Paschals ( I've never eaten there, but heard it was good? Is it a safe walk from the Dome? )
 
I'm going early for the GT alumni association tailgate and the fanfest. I plan to take MARTA.

I went to a Falcons game a couple of weeks ago. I paid $30 to park and had to walk about a half mile.
 
There's a rap conert at Phillips that's sold out. Don't think Marta is smarta in this case...
 
I agree. And that makes 90,000 people in a small area. Not exactly good for Marta. One time it took us 2 hours to take Marta back from a U2 concert at the Dome. And that was 65,000.

Not to mention the peach drop at underground. I've not gone to it in years. The one and only time I went, it was a total cluster effing mass of humanity. Hopefully it has gotten less crowded over the years as the novelty has worn off.
 
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to park on campus for free. The walk isn't too bad from there.

Distance-wise, no. But other than that you have a walk at 11 PM through a not entirely safe section of town.
 
I purchased a pass for the red deck right next to the Dome for $35 on ebay...don't know if it's a good deal but I know where I'll be parking come the 31st
 
i once went to a hockey game when there was a monster truck event at the Dome and i can tell you i would have taken a rap concert followed by a punk show and then a heavy metal show over that crowd!

you guys are perpetuating the stereotypes others call racism

I thought the comment was more about the fact that Marta would be crowded because both the concert and the bowl game might let out about the same time and that is a lot of folks in a narrow time window.
