From my grape vine he's out. No one likes this dude and they all think he's a joke. This comes from the HS football folks I know.

I've been led to believe that there is a massive contingent of Tech fans who have been aggressively and sincerely defending Collins, even as recently as this past week. While there are no posts or evidence of any kind that this is true, obviously they're out there since we've got thousands of witness statements on this board, and that's just from 2-3 users alone! I don't imagine this loss will dissuade them. No doubt they will be out in force on the streets of Atlanta tomorrow, defending their man. Sad.

Actually I think it’s actually down to just 3 now. Disecq, ibeeballin, and 1982moron. Maybe I’m missing a couple though.
 
I had a dream last night that Collins, Stansbury, and Thacker have all hatched a plan.

The idea is this - Stansbury and Collins agreed last year to try to both save their jobs. Collins has been intentionally throwing the last several games, all of the blowouts.

Today, he will step down as head coach to be a defensive coordinator; Thacker will take the head coaching job. Collins and Stansbury both believe that the rest of our games are winnable (with the exception of a few). Thacker will be a hero after leading us to 8 wins and a bowl bid.

After the season, Stansbury will talk about the progress and offer Thacker the head coaching job while allowing Collins to stay on as DC. Everyone gets to keep their job (including key).

Now this was all from a dream, but my dreams have been quite reliable in the past. iiwii
