Any truth to Izzan Cross just

Looks good to me! He is showing up commited on the commitments page and the prospects page.
 
Are any of these four commits listed as DE's going to play a different position?
 
It looks like some needs are being addressed very nicely in this recruiting class.

Cross could possibly move to DT if he put on some strength and weight. Crenshaw could possible play linebacker but thats not a position of need so I think cross is the only possibility at another position.
 
If the biggest problem we have with the incoming recruiting class is that we have too many good DE's, the I guess we'll just have to learn to live with it!
 
What a great get! D-Line depth is a great thing to have. It is unusual to get so many players at one position, but every one of our DEs is a high quality guy, so I certainly wouldn't want to have to choose between them. The good thing about DEs is that they are normally BIG athletes, so they can bulk up and play DT or some can play in a two point stance as a LB. You could also have 1st and 2nd down DEs that are dynamite against the run and pass rush specialists who come in on obvious passing downs. Another possibility is to switch a big and fast DE to OL and use him in our offense which requires speed as well as size and strength. I don't think CPJ would take all of these good DEs if he didn't think we had a spot for them. It is certainly a good problem to have. I'm very excited to have Mr. Cross in White and Gold.
